How to Transfer a call:
While on call press: Followed by the extension
Once dialed you will be able to speak with the recipient before confirming the transfer. To confirm the transfer press this button again.
How to park a call:
- Option 1: While on call use the buttons under the screen to navigate to “more” once it displays “call Park” you can select it and it will prompt you that the call is on hold and provide a park location.
- Option 2: while on call select ##*3 -> it will let you know the call is on park and provide the location.
To retrieve a parked call:
- Press * followed by the location that was provided in the original prompt
How to use your Voicemail message extension (when at the clinic):
- Dial your voicemail extension number, on any phone
- When the message begins to play, enter *, you will then be prompted to enter your voicemail PIN, followed by the pound sign.
- Prompts will play; to listen to your messages (press 1), for account administration (press 2), to create a new voice message (press 4).
- Press 1: to listen to your new messages, saved messages, and/or delete any messages – this will be the place to complete these actions
- Press 2: to record your greeting (press 2) - this will be the place to update your voicemail message that clients will hear (press 3), to listen to your current message (press2), and follow the prompts to save your recorded message.
- Press 4: If you use this, it will leave a message on the extension (it’s a direct dial to leave a message rather than waiting for the phones to send you to voicemail), in most cases, this can be largely disregarded.
If you require your original voicemail message to play on the system – you can follow the same steps above to re-record your original message, OR you can reach out to helpdesk@lifemark.ca and have one of our Telecom Analysts re-upload the original recording on your voicemail message extension.
How to use your Voicemail message extension (when outside of clinic):
- Dial the clinic’s phone number
- Once you’re connected, dial the voicemail extension number
- When the message begins to play, enter *, you will then be prompted to enter your voicemail PIN, followed by the pound sign.
- Then you’ll proceed the same as the above instructions on listening to Voicemail Messages left for the clinic or re-recording the voicemail greeting if required.
If you require your original voicemail message to play on the system – you can follow the same steps above to re-record your original message, OR you can reach out to helpdesk@lifemark.ca and have one of our Telecom Analysts re-upload the original recording on your voicemail message extension.
How to use shared lines:
- Incoming call can be placed on Line 1 hold. The phones in the group are the only ones allowed to answer, they can select line 1 and pick up the call.
Please note – This line will flash indicating there is a call waiting.
How to put a call on hold:
- Press this button to put a call on hold, to resume call press this button again.
How to page:
Outgoing page: Dial *84 followed by the extension of the person you are attempting to page.
Sending Faxes:
Via Email:
Go to the clinic’s main outlook inbox, select new email. Then type in the recipients fax number with @rcfax.com at the end and hit send.
You will receive a confirmation from Ring Central that the fax was submitted successfully.
From: abc.def@lifemark.ca ( This would be your clinic’s email)
Via Multi-Function Printer:
Select the scan-to-email function, then type in the recipients fax number with @rcfax.com at the end and hit send.
You will receive a confirmation from Ring Central in your email that the fax was submitted successfully.
From: abc.def@lifemark.ca ( This would be your clinic’s email)
Receiving Faxes:
All faxes will now be received in the clinic’s email, with an attachment of the fax received.
