Sometimes, Internet Explorer can cause problems with cached settings and files, and it will result in odd problems with LPS. Forms not opening, buttons not working, pages not loading: There are a wide variety of problems that can result.
As such, sometimes resetting Internet Explorer can resolve a number of issues with LPS.
1. Open Internet Options
To do this, click on the gear in the top right, and then select Internet Options. (See below)
2. Delete Browsing History
Next, while staying in the General tab, look for the Browsing History section and click Delete. (See Below)
3. Finish Clearing Internet Explorer
In the dialog box that appears when you click Delete, make sure everything BUT "Preserve Favorites website data" is checked, then click Delete.
Note if you want, you can leave Passwords unchecked so that your passwords are not cleared away.
4. Restart Internet Explorer
When you press Delete, the box should close. After that, press OK on the Internet Options box, and close Internet Explorer.
5. Log in to LPS
Now that Internet Explorer has been reset, try to log in to LPS again. If you still have problems. please contact the helpdesk.
